Overdose is the leading cause of injury-related death in the United states – surpassing car accidents. According to the CDC, this past year had the highest number of overdoses ever recorded, and opioids -- primarily fentanyl -- is at the heart of the problem. Now, it is more important than ever to know how to recognize and respond to an overdose. Attendees will:
- Learn signs of an Overdose
- How to administer Narcan
NOTE that Narcan is not provided as part of the training, but it will be addressed how and where to obtain it.
You will receive a Zoom link to this training at least 48 hours prior to the event. Class begins at 10 a.m.
