Overdose is the leading cause of injury-related death in the United states – surpassing car accidents. According to the CDC, this past year had the highest number of overdoses ever recorded, and opioids -- primarily fentanyl -- is at the heart of the problem. Now, it is more important than ever to know how to recognize and respond to an overdose. Attendees will:
NOTE that Narcan is not provided as part of the training, but it will address how and where to obtain it.
This live, interactive training occurs on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 10am - 11:30am. You will receive a Zoom link to this training at least 48 hours prior to the event.
