This training will provide attendees with verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution tactics and strategies to utilize with someone who is in crisis. The training will include techniques to handle crisis’ and understanding mental health crisis.

At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Define a crisis and goals of crisis intervention
2. Explain and use successful strategies in de-escalation.
3. Explain and use various techniques and facets of crisis de-escalation
4. Effectively communicate with people in a crisis to reduce the possibility of physical intervention. 

Participants will be able to interact on our Zoom platform through online discussions.
